So ok you guys, I have been addicted to baby-oriented mommy type message boards lately. Of course, how could I help it really? Anyways, I was just reading a topic where they were talking about a recent poll showing that many Christians are addicted to pornography... which of course initiated a discussion wherein many people professed disbelief that ANY women would watch porn much less be addicted to it as porn is soooo degrading to women.

Aside: Some porn IS degrading to women. Unfortunately the porn INDUSTRY is not very woman-friendly in my mind. But the industry is expanding, changing, growing... obviously I do not consider my site to be degrading to women, more like a sex-positive celebration!

In a separate post on the same site, someone posted a question to "submissive wives." Well, given my history I had to check it out... and much to my dismay found myself embroiled in a discussion of how a good Christian woman must submit to her husband, how he must lead the family to God, how he must lead the family in general, etc. Funny how no one sees THAT as degrading to women, when to me it is much, much more degrading!

Seriously, at least the porn industry gives women independence and choice, even if it is flawed in many ways. Even the bad parts of the porn industry give a woman financial freedom which enables her to make choices for herself. To say to me that a woman must be lead by a man to spiritual fulfillment seems much, much more degrading. And I am a submissive!!!! I just think there is a huge, huge difference between choosing to submit to someone because it fulfills your sexuality, and feeling like you *must* submit to someone because otherwise you will BURN IN HELL!

Back from Vegas...

And just in time, so it would seem... I'd have been lost without my big water bottle on the plane! Unfortunately it seems like once a rule is put in place we never take it back, so maybe I'll just hafta drive to Vegas from now on... as these rules are getting ridiculous! (Not sure what I'm talking about? CNN coverage is here!)

Anyways, we had a great time in Vegas as always, although I must say this was my first time in Vegas... SOBER!!! LOL!!! I am used to drinking all the time in Vegas. I mean, it is Vegas! You can walk around with champagne glasses! So this time, I was much more subdued. All inhibited and stuff. But gosh I sure wish men would be a little bit more aggressive about picking women up... I mean my g/f and I did *try* to go pick up some guys, but I was not feeling aggressive (er... tipsy) enough. And while lots of guys were checking us out, no one really made a move. Silly men! You don't know the fun you missed. "Hi" would've just about done it! LOL! :)

Anyways here is the first of a series of pics taken at the Wynn. *sigh* the Wynn, the Wynn! You know what? Seriously? It is just a gorgeous hotel. Fabulous beds. Beautiful views. Amazing service. Pool was fabulous! Food was fabulous! Just... FAB!!!! I really loved it and will go back if the rates are ever low enough for my meager porn money to be able to afford it again! I'm working on the rest of the pics now... :)
